Storage Conditions	The lyophilized antibody can be stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C for up to twelve months. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for at least four weeks at 2-8°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted antibody, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. No detectable loss of activity was observed after six months.
Product Description	CD86 is an 80kD Ig superfamily member that is involved in immunoglobulin class-switching and activation of NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity. CD80 is closely related to, and works in tandem with CD86 to prime T- cells. CD86 is expressed earlier in the immune response than CD80. The ligation of CD28 on T cells with CD80 and CD86 on APCs co-stimulates T cells resulting in enhanced cell activation, proliferation, and cytokine production. CD86 can also bind to CTLA-4 to deliver an inhibitory signal to T cells.

Other Applications Reported In Literature	Neutralization: This antibody is useful for neutralization of Mouse B7-2 bioactivity. The antibody dose required to neutralize 50% (ND₅₀) of the biological activity of Mouse B7-2 (at 10 ng/ml) is 2.5 - 10 µg/ml. CyTOF-ready:Ready to be labeled using established conjugation methods. No BSA or other carrier proteins that could interfere with conjugation.
