Storage Conditions	The lyophilized antibody can be stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C for up to twelve months. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for at least four weeks at 2-8°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted antibody, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. No detectable loss of activity was observed after six months.
Product Description	Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 16 (CXCL16), also known as SR-PSOX, is a transmembrane protein that facilitates uptake of low density lipoproteins by macrophages, resulting in foam cell formation.1 CXCL16 is found in liver tissue2 and influences the uptake, subcellular localization, and cytokine profile induced by D oligonucleotides.3 CXCL16 may play a pro-inflammatory role in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), particularly Crohn's disease.4

Other Applications Reported In Literature	Neutralization: This antibody is useful for neutralization of Mouse CXCL16 bioactivity. The antibody dose required to neutralize 50% (ND₅₀) of the biological activity of Mouse CXCL16 (at 7.5 ng/ml) is 0.15 - 0.6 µg/ml.
