Storage Conditions	The lyophilized antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody can be stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C for twelve months from date of receipt. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for at least four weeks at 2-8°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted antibody, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. No detectable loss of activity was observed after six months.
Product Description	Eotaxin-2 is a CC chemokine that is a specific agonist for the chemokine receptor CCR3. It is produced by activated monocytes and T lymphocytes. Eotaxin-2 induces chemotaxis of eosinophils as well as basophils and the release of histamine and leukotriene C4 from basophils. Eotaxin-2 has the same efficacy as eotaxin, but is somewhat less potent. 1 Additionally, Eotaxin-2 inhibits the proliferation of multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cells.

Other Applications Reported In Literature	Neutralization: This antibody is useful for neutralization of Mouse Eotaxin-2 bioactivity. The antibody dose required to neutralize 50% (ND₅₀) of the biological activity of Mouse Eotaxin-2 (at 0.02 ng/ml) is 0.5 - 2.5 µg/ml.
