Storage Conditions	The lyophilized antibody can be stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C for up to twelve months. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for at least four weeks at 2-8°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted antibody, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. No detectable loss of activity was observed after six months.
Product Description	Vascular endothelial-cadherin (VE-Cadherin) also known as cadherin-5 is an endothelial specific, homophilic adhesion molecule located at the lateral cell surface.1 VE-Cadherin is crucial for the proper assembly of vascular structures and the maintenance of vascular integrity.2 It plays a pivotal role in the formation, maturation and remodeling of the vascular wall.3 VE-cadherin is a positive and endothelial cell-specific regulator of transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) signaling. Therefore, the reduction or inactivation of VE-cadherin may contribute to progression of diseases where TGF-beta signaling is impaired.4

Manufacturer - Specificity	Mouse Anti-Human Vascular Endothelial Cadherin (VE-Cadherin) (Clone 123433) recognizes an epitope on Human VE-Cadherin. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype. This antibody displayed no cross-reactivity with rhCadherin-8, rhCadherin-17, rhE-Cadherin, rhP-Cadherin or rmVE-Cadherin.
