Description of target	This gene encodes a cell surface glycoprotein which is typically expressed on endothelial cells and cells of the immune system. It binds to integrins of type CD11a / CD18, or CD11b / CD18 and is also exploited by Rhinovirus as a receptor.

Biological activity	ELISA Capture Antibody. This Antibody can be used as Capture in a human CD54 sandwich Immunoassay to detect human CD54 in combination with biotinylated human CD54 Detection Antibody (Cat nAC 879.540.002). The suggested coating concentration range below should be optimised by each laboratory for each application. ELISA: 1-10ug/ml
