Target	FUNCTION: Probable ligand for integrin in the brain. This is a non catalytic metalloprotease-like protein. Involved in regulation of cell adhesion and spreading and in inhibition of cell proliferation. Neuronal receptor for LGI1. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Highly expressed in the brain and in some high-grade but not low-grade gliomas. Detected slightly or not at all in other tissues.

Applications info	IHC, WB (confirmed by recombinant protein). A dilution of 1: 300 to 1: 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Storage	Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
