Reconstitution and storage	Store at -20° C only. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the protein. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Description of target	Progesterone-BSA Conjugate contains progesterone 3-CMO conjugated to Bovine Serum Albumin at a ratio of 30 moles progesterone/mole of BSA. Progesterone is a steroid hormone synthesized from the cholesterol derivative, pregnenolone, in the cortex of the adrenal gland. It is secreted by the corpus luteum and acts to prepare the endometrium for the implantation of a fertilized egg. During pregnancy, progesterone is secreted by the placenta in order to prevent spontaneous abortion and to stimulate the development of mammary tissue to produce milk.
