Description	This product is a water-soluble, 4', 6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) containing compound recommended for slides mounted after a staining procedure having an aqueous final step. When bound to DNA, DAPI fluoresces and is typically used as a nuclear/chromosomal counterstain. Since this product is water-soluble, the cover-slip may be removed by submerging the slide in a PBS solution until the cover-slip is loosened. This mounting medium also provides a semi-permanent seal for storage of slide preparations.

Description of target	DAPI Fluoromount-G is a water-soluble, 4', 6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) containing compound recommended for slides mounted after a staining procedure having an aqueous final step. When bound to DNA, DAPI fluoresces and is typically used as a nuclear/chromosomal counterstain. Since DAPI Fluoromount-G is water-soluble, the coverslip may be removed by submerging the slide in a PBS solution until the coverslip is loosened. This mounting medium also provides a semi-permanent seal for storage of slide preparations.
Warning	Reagents contain sodium azide which is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copiousamounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxichydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide- containing compounds in running water beforediscarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
