Reconstitution and storage
Reconstitution : Reconstitute with 1.0ml sterile PBS Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. Aviva Systems Biology recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.
Storage : Prior to reconstitution store at +4oC.
After reconstitution store at -20°C.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the protein.

This product , native beta-2 microglobulin is a component of MHC class I molecules, which are present on all nucleated cells. Levels of beta-2 microglobulin can be used to assess renal function in kidney transplant recipients. Also known as B2M, it has been suggested that this protein can be used as a prognostic marker for HIV infection.
