Description
Human bone marrow plasma is the liquid component of blood. Bone marrow plasma consists of dissolved proteins, glucose, clotting agents, minerals, hormones, and carbon dioxide. It makes up approximately 55% of the whole bone marrow suspension. This whole bone marrow plasma is isolated from a single donor. The plasma is separated out from the whole bone marrow (sent separately) and immediately frozen at -80C in order to preserve its contents. Whole bone marrow plasma enables researchers to investigate specific components of bone marrow at the molecular level.
Development period: Postnatal
