Storage Conditions	Store lyophilized protein at -20C to -80C. Reconstituted protein is stable for 1 week at 2-4C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C with a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer. This depends upon the particular application employed. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Description	Recombinant Human G-CSF is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 174 amino acids and purified by proprietary techniques. Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor is a growth factor and/or cytokine produced by the endothelium, macrophages and a number of other immune cells. G-CSF stimulates the bone marrow to produce granulocytes and also to stimulate the survival, proliferation, differentiation and function of neutrophil granulocyte progenator cells and mature neutrophils.
Formulation	lyophilized from a concentrated (1 mg/ml) Phosphate- Buffered Saline, pH 7.4.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. First add sterile distilled water to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. After complete solubilization of the protein, it can be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Specificity	1.27 x 108 IU/mg.
Biological Activity	The ED50, calculated by the dose-dependant proliferation of mouse NFS-60 indicator cells (measured by 3H-thymidine uptake) is <0.07 ng/ml, corresponding to a Specific Activity of 1.27 x 108 IU/mg.
Endotoxin Level	< 0.1 ng/ug of G-CSF
