Background	During Ficoll density gradient centrifugation, granulocytes (neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils) form a layer separate from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). The granulocyte layer is directly above the red blood cells. Thus, when this layer is collected, red blood cells will be present. After isolating this layer, RayBiotech will lyse the red blood cells. The number of granulocytes obtained per patient will vary. All cells will be provided to customer the number of provided cells cannot be guaranteed.
