Brief Description	Valsartan is a potent, selective and orally active AT1 receptor antagonist (Ki = 2.38 nM), with over 30, 000-fold selectivity over AT2 receptors. It is an investigational antihypertensive drug being studied for use in combination with AHU-377 (molar ratio: 1:1) (Our Prod No. CT-AHU377). The combination drug, known as LCZ696, is in clinical trials for the treatment of heart failure.
