Manufacturer - Applications
The activity is calculated by the ability to chemoattract Balb3/c splenocytesusing a concentration of 1–10ng/ml. Each laboratory should determine anoptimum working titer for use in its particular application. Otherapplications have not been tested but use in such assays should notnecessarily be excluded.
Storage Conditions
Thelyophilized product, though stable for 3 weeks at room temperature, is beststored at -20 oC. After reconstitution, short term (up to 1 week) store at2–8oC. Long term, add 0.1% HSA or BSA, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoidmultiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Antigen Description
Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 3 (CCL3) is aprotein that in humans is encoded by the CCL3 gene.CCL3, also known asMacrophage inflammatory protein-1alpha (MIP-1alpha), is a cytokine belonging to theCC chemokine family that is involved in the acute inflammatory state in therecruitment and activation of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (Wolpe et al., 1988). Sherry et al. (1988) demonstrated 2 protein components of MIP1, calledby them alpha and beta.
