Description	The two major cytoskeletal proteins implicated in cell motility are actin and myosin. Actin and myosin are involved in a myriad of cellular processes including locomotion, secretion, cytoplasmic streaming, phagocytosis, and cytokinesis. GenScript, Rabbit Anti-Alpha-Actin-1 Polyclonal Antibody, is developed in rabbit hosts using a synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH.

Purification Method	Immunoaffinity chromatography
Reconstitution	Reconstitute the lyophilized product with deionized water (or equivalent) to make antibody concentration of 0.5 mg/ml, if the antibody is in lyophilized form.
Notes	Briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container's cap because small volumes of antibody will occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage.
