Localization:	Cell Membrane CD200 is the ligand for a receptor restricted to myeloid cells which delivers inhibitory signals. In the CD200 deficient mouse model myeloid cells are more activated when stimulated immunologically than cells from normal mice. CD200 delivers the crucial intracellular signal leading to immunosuppression important in autoimmunity and transplantation. Regulation of CD200 expression may control both pregnancy and allograft survival.
