Genway ID:
GWB-3E3BEC
Immunogen:
Fusion protein from the N-terminus of rabbit renal Na/Ca ExchangerWorking
Dilutions:
DB: 1:1000WB: 1:1000Storage and Stability: The lyophilized antibody can be stored at -20Â º C and is stable for at least 2 years. The antibody should be reconstituted in 50 Â µ l phosphate buffered saline (PBS: 137 mM NaCl 7. 5 mM Na2HPO4 2. 7 mM 1. 5 mM KH2PO4 pH 7. 4) before use. After reconstitution the antibody should be aliquot and stored at -20Â º C
Clone:
6H2
Subclass:
IgG2B
Antibody Specificity:
Specific for the ~120k and [160k] Na+/Ca2+ Exchanger NaCX-1 protein in Western blots of rabbit tissues. Has broad tissue and species reactivity. Quality Control Tests: Western blots performed on each lotPackaging: 100 Â µ g antibody vial; lyophilized from 5mM ammonium bicarbonate. Adequate amount of material to conduct 10-mini Western blots
Function:
Rapidly transports Ca(2+) during excitation-contraction coupling. Ca(2+) is extruded from the cell during relaxation so as to prevent overloading of intracellular stores.
Enzyme Regulation:
By ATP.
Subcellular Location:
Cell membrane; multi-pass membrane protein.
Tissue Specificity:
Cardiac sarcolemma or brain and spleen. Isoform 4 seems to be a predominant isoform in aorta stomach liver and kidney.
Similarity:
Belongs to the sodium/potassium/calcium exchanger family. SLC8 subfamily.
Similarity:
Contains 2 Calx-beta domains. [1] Ahlers B. A. Zhang X. Q. Moorman J. R. Rothblum L. I. Carl L. L. Song J. Wang J. Geddis L. M. Tucker A. L. Mounsey J. P. and et al.
