Bioactivity	Indiplon, a nonbenzodiazepine, hypnotic sedative, works by enhancing the action of the inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA, like most other nonbenzodiazepine sedatives. It primarily binds to the alpha1 subunits of the GABAA receptors in the brain.
