Description	Tetramycin (Tetramycin A) is a macrolide antibiotic isolated from Streptomyces hygrospinosus var. Beijingensis. 24-Demethyl-24-ethyltetrin A is a new and highly effective polyene antibiotic with excellent antibacterial activity against a variety of plant pathogens, low toxicity and environmental advantages. The C-4 position of Tetramycin A is a hydrogen atom, while Tetramycin B is a hydroxyl group.
