This product is used to determ ine HDL - C content in human serum.

Chemical modified cholesterol esterase and cholesterol oxidase have different reactive features with different lipoprotein cholesterol. chylomicron (CM), low density lipoprotein (LDL) and very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) have low reaction delay, but HDL is not affected. Base on the reactive feature , HDL - c c oncentration in the sample can be calculated by comparing the calibrator result with same processing.

This assay kit is suitable for automatic or semi - automatic biochemical analyzer with 600nm and 700nm wavelength.

Use fasting serum. Samples testing should be completed at the same day after collected. Otherwise, the samples should be cryopreserved and avoid repeated freeze - thaw cycles. HDL - C in the samples remain stable for 6 days at 2 - 8C and for 1 year at cryopreservation condition.
This kit comes with a calibrator and a control.
