Biological Activity
ADU-S100 enantiomer ammonium salt (MIW815 enantiomer ammonium salt) is the less active enantiomer of ADU-S100. ADU-S100 is an activator of stimulator of interferon genes (STING)[1]. In Vitro: STING is a transmembrane protein localized to the endoplasmic reticulum that undergoes a conformational change in response to direct binding of cyclic dinucleotides, resulting in a downstream signaling cascade involving TBK1 activation, IRF-3 phosphorylation, and production of IFN-beta and other cytokines. The direct activation of the STING pathway might be an effective therapeutic strategy to promote broad tumor-initiated T cell priming against tumor antigen repertoire[1].
