Nucleic Acid Quantification Kits

Nucleic acid quantification is a standard procedure in research to ensure safety for downstream applications such as PCR application, cloning or next generation sequencing.

The iQuant ^TM product line is an assay kit and enables the precise quantification of RNA and DNA in a wide concentration range. A special feature is the new iQuant ^TM NGS dsDNA assay kit, which is ideal for modern next generation sequencing applications.

By using a fluorescence-based nucleic acid quantification instead of an absorbance-based one, a highly sensitive and selective quantification for DNA and RNA can be achieved. In addition, a more precise determination of RNA and DNA concentrations is possible in the presence of common impurities, including nucleotides, proteins, detergents and salts.

Andy Fluor^TM and Cy ^® Dyes

With the help of fluorescent labeling of biomolecules, it is possible to visually visualize specific components of complex biological relationships with the highest sensitivity. Imaging applications can be, for example, flow cytometry or Western blots

The product portfolio includes a broad range of Andy Fluor ^TM dyes for the labeling of numerous biomolecules such as antibodies, proteins and many others, for use in immunochemistry, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), cell tracking, receptor labeling and cytochemistry, as well as for the study of biological structures, functions and interactions. Andy fluorescent markers can replace conventional fluorescent markers, offering many advantages. An example here would be: Andy Fluor 350 NHS Ester, which can replace AMCA DyLight 350.
