Absea Biotechnology Ltd is our partner for antibody service and antibody reagents. Since its founding in 2001, the company has been selling antibodies for special needs worldwide. Its broad customer base includes European and American researchers, both for academic and industrial purpose.

The product range of Absea Biotechnology is diversified. Mouse or rat monoclonal antibodies meet the highest quality standards. The animals are kept under SPF conditions. For culture medium, serum, tissue culture plates, freezing surfaces and so on, always high quality materials are selected. The monoclonal antibodies are directed against (modified) peptides, fusion proteins or protein antigens. Absea Biotechnology also offers purification and characterization of antibodies as well as antigen preparation services. The latter includes DNA synthesis, plasmid construction, protein expression, peptide design, peptide synthesis and cross-linking of peptides with carrier proteins.

The company also produces polyclonal rabbit or rat antibodies. These are directed against peptides, protein antigens or fusion proteins. If desired, antigen preparation services can be availed (cDNA expression, peptide design, peptide synthesis and cross-linking of peptides with carrier proteins).

For monoclonal antibodies or polyclonal antisera, Absea Biotechnology offers a comprehensive purification service. The affinity purification is done using Protein A or Protein G columns (for monoclonal IgG antibodies), or using antigen-coupled Sepharose beads (for monoclonal IgA and IgM antibodies and for polyclonal antibodies from antisera).

Through national partner companies, the supplier is also able to offer peptide syntheses. The quality assessment takes place by HPLC and mass spectroscopy.

In addition to custom antibodies, Absea Biotechnology offers a wide variety of catalog antibody reagents. Antibodies are provided multiple applications including neuroscience, disease markers, blood and cell proteins, immune checkpoints and cytokines and growth factors. Areas of application such as CD or cell membrane molecules, chromatin and transcription, cytoskeleton and intracellular transport and antibody pairs for sandwich ELISA are also covered.
