Created in 2000, ADEMTECH SA, a company based in France and initially possessing extensive expertise in Emulsion technology, has specialized in the development and production of superparamagnetic nanoparticles for in vitro diagnostic and life sciences.

The synergy of diverse skills, including physicochemistry, polymer chemistry, immunology, cellular biology, molecular biology, and virology, has resulted in the creation of innovative nano-objects with unique characteristics.

The Product Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Sales Departments have obtained certification under the International Standard ISO 9001 since February 2003, now updated with the 2008 version.

Committed to environmental responsibility, ADEMTECH has been engaged in a continuous improvement program since March 2012 to minimize the environmental impact of its activities.

Technology

A proprietary technology ensures a reproducible manufacturing process of calibrated magnetic emulsions.

Fragmentation under controlled shearing allows for the preparation of 100nm to 500nm uniform magnetic emulsions.

The superparamagnetic nanoparticles display magnetic properties only within a magnetic field and exhibit no residual magnetism when removed from this field.

Ademtech has developed an in-house polymerization process that ensures efficient isolation of the magnetic core, tunable functionalization, and high colloidal stability.

The polymer provides the magnetic core with a uniform protective shell to isolate iron oxides that can interfere with enzymatic reactions.

The hydrophilic surface reduces non-specific interactions with proteins. The high magnetic content (over 70%) ensures quick and gentle magnetic separation, even for the smallest particles, with a simple magnet.

Ademtech has established simple and reproducible protocols for coupling proteins to its nanoparticles, resulting in high binding capacities while minimizing non-specific binding and ensuring long-term stability.

Self-organization of magnetic particles occurs when stimulated by a magnetic field. Separation is gentle, and no column or centrifugation is necessary.
