Croyez Bioscience
About Croyez Bioscience
The word "Croyez" is French.
It means to believe.
The base form of the verb is croire.
When the subject is you, this verb should be changed to "croyez".
Therefore, "croyez" means the products are worth trusting.
Croyez Bioscience is a Taiwanese biotech company, headquartered in Taiwan. Its main focus is on finding "complete solutions" for scientists in the biomedical field. Especially for protein research, numerous products of highest quality (GMP/RUO quality) are available. Among others, recombinant proteins, raw material for mRNA synthesis, raw material for molecular diagnostics, raw material for allergens, COVID-19 antibodies and antigens are offered. The customer-specific service offering expands its profile.
Products of Croyez Bioscience
Recombinant proteins
The category "Recombinant Proteins" includes a variety of cytokines, neurotrophins, chemokines, enzymes and growth factors. The production and quality control of the proteins is carried out according to the GMP standard and does not involve animal testing.
to the GMP standard and does not involve animal testing. All products are subjected to multiple quality controls to ensure 95% purity and low endotoxin levels of <0.1 EU/ mg. Additional quality control by HPLC is offered. High biological activity is also tested, for this purpose the proteins are compared with proteins of other manufacturers at the same concentration.
Possible applications are drug development, cell culture application or as additives for care products.
Secondary antibodies
The special feature of Croyez secondary antibodies is their high photostability, for easy data acquisition and analysis. A wide range of different antibodies including fluorescent and HRP conjugates are available. This makes the secondary antibodies ready for use in various applications, such as Western blot, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and flow cytometry. HRP products are also available in bulk packs (up to 100 ml).
Antibodies for labeling and internal control
Specialized in Croyez monoclonal antibody technologies, our tag and internal control antibodies demonstrate high sensitivity and good reproducibility against targets. Croyez offers a variety of high-affinity antibodies that can be used in many areas of life science research, including Western blot, ELISA, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry.
Fusion proteins from various sources such as bacteria, yeast and mammalian cells can be identified.
Protein Purification Beads
Protein purification beads serve as an effective tool immunoprecipitation of proteins and their interaction partners. Using specific fusion tags on the beads, the tagged proteins can be purified without specific antibodies.
The technology is characterized by high sensitivity and high affinity for. The purification of proteins succeeds from different expression systems. The protein purification beads are suitable for native applications such as IP, Co-IP, CHIP, as well as for downstream experiments such as protein identification.
Protein Conjugation Kits
Protein/antibody conjugation with molecular labeling is an important tool in biological research. For this purpose, Croyez offers HRP and biotin conjugation kits that allow labeling of target proteins or antibodies in one step. The conjugated products can be used in various applications such as ELISA, Western blot, immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry.
Apoptosis Detection Reagent
During early apoptosis, cells translocate biomembrane phosphatidylserine from the intracellular side to the cell surface. Annexin V, a cellular protein of the annexin group, has a high affinity for phophatidylserine groups and binds them preferentially. Because of this property, Annexin V and corresponding fluorescent conjugates are used to study apoptotic cells. Croyez offers assays for this purpose that can be performed within 20 minutes without washing steps.
Nanobodies - VHH Antibodies
Croyez has Nanobodies in its product range, the smallest antigen-binding question segments (15 kDA). Nanobodies, also called VHH antibodies, consist only of the heavy chains "heavy-chains" of the antibody. They occur naturally in camalids (camels and llamas).
They have excellent properties, their affinity for antigen is comparable or better than conventional antibodies of normal size (150 kDa). They have nano- to picomolar affinities, can bind at difficult/hidden binding sites, such as in the active site of an enzyme. Nanobodies can detect endogenous native proteins. They are stable to hot detergents and high urea concentrations. Nanobodies are made for versatile use.

Service
Protein Expression Service
What is special about Croyez's protein expression service?
The proteins are all manufactured and controlled under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices - quality standard in pharmacy) criteria. To ensure that batch after batch has consistent properties and quality, protein expression tests are performed on a small scale. If these show a positive result, scale-up production begins. The high level of experience, regarding protein aggregation, helps to find quick solutions to problems.
What tags are available?
Croyez has five different fusion tags, which include His, His-SUMO, and Fc.
How is the refolding of the target protein ensured?
Proper folding of the target protein is ensured by allowing inclusion bodies to be solubilized with urea. The refolding strategy is selected based on the sequence and properties of the target protein.
What are the expression systems?
Croyez expresses the target proteins in mammalian cells (HEK293, CHO) and in E. coli bacteria.
What happens during the service process and how long does it take to get to the finished product?
Codon optimization takes about 1-2 weeks. This is followed by plasmid construction, which also takes 1-2 weeks. Protein expression in the desired expression system and subsequent evaluation takes 1-2 weeks. Subsequently, large scale expression can be performed. The quality of the products is controlled by SDS-Page/Westernblot and/or HPLC (additional fee).
The proteins produced with the E. coli expression system, yield 3-5 mg of purified protein. Expression in mammalian yields a minimum of 100 µg purified protein. In addition, various services can be booked, such as ultra-low endotoxin content (for bacterial system, with <0.1 EU/µg), sterile filtration, protein activity detection, purity determination by HPLC and protein freeze-drying.
We are very pleased to be working with Croyez, our specialist in protein research related products.
