The enterovirus belongs to the picornaviridas family. The human enterovirus is a single-stranded RNA virus; the virus particles are spherical and do not have an envelope. The length of the gene is about 7000 bp. In humans, as the sole host, this virus causes a wide variety of diseases, including paralysis, aseptic meningitis, myocardial injuries, and rashes. Recessive infections are usually difficult to identify. The universal enterovirus nucleic acid detection kit detects human enterovirus nucleic acid RNA in fecal and pharyngeal swab samples.
