Supplied as a liquid in 20mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 0.15M sodium chloride, 1mM DTT, 20% glycerol.

DTD2 belongs to the DTD family. This protein hydrolyzes D-tyrosyl-tRNA(Tyr) into D-tyrosine and free tRNA(Tyr). It could be a defense mechanism against a harmful effect of D-tyrosine (Potential).

Recombinant corresponding to aa1-168 from human DTD2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli.

~21kD (191aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF

Applications:
Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
