Description
VCAM1, also known as vascular cell adhesion protein 1, is a receptor for encephalomyocarditis virus on murine vascular endothelial cells. It has been identified as a receptor for the D variant of encephalomyocarditis (EMC-D) virus on vascular endothelial cells from the heart.

Recombinant protein corresponding to aa25-698 from mouse VCAM1, fused to His-tag at C-terminal expressed in insect cell.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
