Description	Recombinant Human Oncostatin-M (209 a.a.)
Formulation	Oncostatin-M (209 a.a.) was lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution containing 1x PBS pH-7.4.
Introduction	Oncostatin M is a member of a cytokine family that includes leukemia-inhibitory factor, granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, and interleukin 6. This gene encodes a growth regulator which inhibits the proliferation of a number of tumor cell lines. It regulates cytokine production, including IL-6, G-CSF and GM-CSF from endothelial cells.
Usage	ProSpec's products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
Biological Activity	The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependant stimulation of Human TF-1 cells is < 2 ng/ml, corresponding to a Specific Activity of 500, 000 IU/mg.
