Introduction	GlsA1 is a member of the great superfamily of serine-dependent beta-lactamases and penicillin-binding proteins which exist almost in every bacteria and eukaryotes and catalyze the hydrolytic deamidation of l-glutamine to l-glutamate and free NH4⁺ .
