Description	Smac/Diablo is one of the proapoptotic proteins. Smac promotes caspase activation in the cytochrome c/Apaf-1/caspase-9 pathway by binding to inhibitor of apoptosis proteins (IAPs) and removing their inhibitory activity. Recombinant human Smac fused to T7-tag. at N-terminus was expressed in E.coli and purified by conventional chromatography techniques.

Storage	Can be stored at +4C short term (1-2 weeks). For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C or -70C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
