Description	HSPC159, also designated galectin-related protein (GRP), is a 172 amino acid protein that contains one galectin domain. This protein does not appear to bind carbohydrates or lactose because the critical residues required for binding are not conserved. Recombinant human HSPC159 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
Form	Liquid. In 20mM Tris-HCl buffer(pH 8.0) containing 10% glycerol, 2mM DTT, 0.1M NaCl.
Storage	Can be stored at +4C short term (1-2 weeks). For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C or -70C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
