Description	Ankyrin repeat domain-containing protein 1, also known as ANKRD1, may play an important role in endothelial cell activation. This protein may act as a nuclear transcription factor that negatively regulates the expression of cardiac genes. Recombinant human ANKRD1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
