Description	Recombinant Human HPN/Hepsin Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag at the C-Terminus.It contains Arg45-Leu417.
Background	Home parenteral nutrition (HPN) has been proposed as the treatment of choice in patients suffering from intestinal failure (IF) and has been claimed to improve survival and quality of life either in patients with benign disorders or even in those with malignancies. HPN seems to have beneficial effect but it should be considered with caution by the physicians who should take into account the indications of each patient to receive parenteral nutrition, the underlying disease and prognosis and the access of each patient to home care services.

Formulation	Supplied as 0.22μm filtered solution in 20mM NaAc, 150mM NaCl (pH 5.0).
Reconstitution	Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 20mM NaAc, 150mM NaCl (pH 5.0). It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1mg/ml for 500ug or 1mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking.
