Storage Conditions	The lyophilized protein should be stored desiccated at -20°C - -70°C. The reconstituted protein can be stored for at least four (4) weeks at 4°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted protein, aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
Product Description	Macrophage migration inhibiting factor (MIF) is a pleiotropic protein that is the key mediator of the innate immune system and plays a crucial role in the host response to bacterial infections.1 MIF acts as a proinflammatory cytokine, a pituitary hormone, and a cell proliferation and migration factor.2 MIF plays a critical role in pathogenesis of ultraviolet-B (UVB)-induced nonmelanoma skin cancer (NMSC).3
Formulation	Lyophilized from a sterile filtered aqueous solution containing 10 mM Trisodium phosphate (Na3PO4), pH 7.5.
