Description	Recombinant Canine S100B Protein is expressed from HEK293 with hFc tag at the N-Terminus.It contains Ser2-Glu92.
Background	S100B, a calcium-binding protein of the EF-hand type exerts both intracellular and extracellular functions.The intracellular, and extracellular, roles of S100B are attractive therapeutic targets for the treatment of both cardiac and vascular disease.
Endotoxin	Less than 1 EU per μg by the LAL method.
Formulation	Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution	Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1mg/ml for 500μg or 1mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking.
