Description	Recombinant Human Latent TGF beta 2/TGFB2 Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag at the N-Terminus.It contains Leu21-Ser414.
Background	Transforming growth factor beta(2) (TGF-beta(2)), a growth regulator of human lens epithelial cells (HLECs), also regulates the death of these cells. TGF-beta(2)-induced apoptosis in HLECs was preceded by an induction of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and a decrease in glutathione in the intracellular content, indicating that this factor induces oxidative stress in HLECs.
Endotoxin	Less than 1 EU per μg by the LAL method.
Molecular Weight	The protein has a predicted MW of 46.6 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 40-60 kDa&12-13 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
