Manufacturer - Specificity	This product is specific for bovine tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha). TNF alpha is produced by a range of cells including macrophages, monocytes, T and B cells, neutrophils and endothelial cells. TNF alpha has a key regulatory role in the bovine immune response, where it is involved in modulating the expression of numerous cytokines, growth factors, inflammatory mediators and acute phase proteins.
Expiration	12 months from the date of shipment when stored properly.
Preparation	Antisera to bovine TNF alpha were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography on protein G.
Immunogen	Recombinant bovine TNF alpha.
