N-Histofine® Simple Stain™ AP (M) belongs to a family of immunohistochemical detection systems (from Nichirei Biosciences) designed to enhance staining of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissue sections. It deploys Nichirei Bio’s patented Universal Immuno-enzyme Polymer (UIP) technology that combines amino acid polymers with multiple molecules of alkaline phosphatase (AP) and secondary antibodies reduced to Fab’ fragments. To eliminate background staining, secondary antibodies undergo solid-phase adsorption with human serum. Simple Stain™ AP comes in versions optimized for use with primary antibodies from mouse (M), rabbit (R), and both mouse and rabbit (MULTI).
