Antigen molecule name	CST3
Specificity	This assay recognizes both recombinant and natural Human CST3. The factors listed below were prepared at 50 ng/mL in dilution buffer and assayed for cross-reactivity. No cross-reactivity was observed.
Intended use	For the quantitative determination of Human Cystatin C / CST3 concentration in serum, cell culture supernates, and urine.

Sample values	The average concentration of CST3 in 10 normal human serum is 66.98 +/- 24.39 ng/mL ranging from 41.39 to 113.36 ng/mL. The average concentration of CST3 in 10 normal human urine is 4.30 +/- 2.50 ng/mL ranging from 0.67 to 9.50 ng/mL. HepG2 cells (0.2 x 10E5 cells/mL) were cultured 3 days. An aliquot of the cell culture supernate was removed, assayed for levels of natural CST3, and measured 15.58 ng/mL.
