Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized IGF-2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution IGFII should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Application:
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IGF2 in sterile 18MO-cm H2O at a concentration of 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity: The ED50, calculated by the dose-dependent induction of MCF-7 cell proliferation was found to be 0.85ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 1, 176, 470IU/mg.
