Each new lot of antibody is quality control tested by western blot on HEK293 cells and confirmed to stain the expected molecular weight band representing endogneous beta-catenin.

We produce our Anti-Beta Catenin chicken polyclonal primary antibody. It is great in IHC, ICC, WB and is affinity-purified IgY.

Chickens were immunized with a keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) conjugate of a synthetic peptide in the C-terminus of the human gene product (P35222). This sequence is 100% conserved in the mouse and rat Beta catenin gene products. After repeated injections, immune eggs were collected from the hens, and the IgY fractions were purified from the yolks. These IgY fractions were then affinity-purified against the cognate peptide using an agarose column, the concentration of the eluates adjusted to 200 µg/mL, and the preparation was filter-sterilized.
