Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-183 from human RAP2B expressed in E. coli.

RAP2B is a 183aa protein. It belongs to the Ras-related protein family. RAP2B is small GTP-binding protein which cycles between a GDP-bound inactive and a GTP-bound active form. RAP2B is involved in EGFR and CHRM3 signaling pathways through stimulation of PLCE1. It may be associated with cytoskeletal rearrangements and regulate cell spreading through activation of the effector TNIK and regulate membrane vesiculation in red blood cells.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Hybridoma:
F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
