Antigen Distribution
Mouse NK cells. Endogenous and interferon induced NK cells. Not present on cytotoxic T-cells and Con A stimulated blast cells. May be present on a certain subset of cytotoxic T-cells strains A, AKR, BALB/C, BALB.H-2b, CBA, C3H, DBA/2, 124 were negative using PK136.
Background
NK-1.1 surface antigen, also known as CD161b/CD161c, is encoded by the NKR-P1B/NKR-P1C gene. It is expressed on NK cells and NK-T cells in some mouse strains. NK-1.1 has also been shown to play a role in NK cell activation, IFN-γ production, and cytotoxic granule release. NK-1.1 and DX5 are commonly used as mouse NK cell markers.
Immunogen
NK-1+ cells from mouse spleen and bone marrow

Storage
anti-NK1.1 In Vivo Antibody - Ultra Low Endotoxin (PK136) is stable for at least one week when stored at 2-8°C. For long term storage, aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at – 20°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
Application Notes
Flow Cytometry: For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.25 µg per 106 cells in 100 µl volume. - Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
