description	Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue is useful for a variety of applications including the targeting of proteins, RNA, and DNA by means of Immunohistochemistry (IHC), in-situ hybridization (ISH) and fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH), respectively. Some tissue types may require extra attention as they may contain high levels of endogenous biotin, peroxidase, or autofluorescence.
reconstitution_and_storage	Preparation: Single tissue slides contain 4 um sections of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human tissue (1-2 cm x 1-2 cm) affixed to Snowcoat X-tra (Surgipath) slides. Tissue diagnosis was performed by certified pathologists. 10 um sections are available. Storage: Stable for up to two years when stored in a cool, dry lab area.
