Reconstitution and storage	Reconstitution: Reconstitute using sterile deionized water to a concentration >=100ug/ml. Further dilutions can be made in other aqueous buffers. Storage:The lyophilized product, though stable for 3 weeks at room temperature, is best stored at -20°, C. After reconstitution, short term (up to 1 week) store at 2 to 8°, C. Long term, add 0.1% HSA or BSA, aliquot and store at -20°, C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Description of target	Recombinant Mouse IFN-gamma is a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 134 amino acids and having a molecular weight of 15, 601Da. The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined to be Met-His-Gly-Thr-Val.

Application info	Specific activity as determined by the cytopathic affect inhibition assay with mouse NIH 3T3 cells challenged with EMC virus was < 0.1 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity of 1 x 107 Units/mg. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
