[Novoprotein] Recombinant Mouse Interleukin-11/IL-11 (C-6His)

Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.
Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7C for 2-7 days.
Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20C for 3 months.

Recombinant Mouse Interleukin-11 is produced by our Mammalian expression system & the target gene encoding Pro22-Leu199 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.

Interleukin-11(IL-11) is a secreted protein & belongs to the IL-6 superfamily. IL-11 has been demonstrated to improve platelet recovery after chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia, induceacute phase proteins, modulate antigen-antibody responses, participate in the regulation of bone cellproliferation & differentiation & could be use as a therapeutic for osteoporosis. IL-11 stimulates the growth of certain lymphocytes and, in the murine model, stimulates an increase in the cortical thickness & strength of long bones. In addition to having lymphopoietic/hematopoietic & osteotrophic properties, it has functions in many other tissues, including the brain, gut, testis & bone.

Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting.
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml.
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in ddH2O.
Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
