Description: Pomalidomide (formerly also known as CC-4047 or actimid), an analog of thalidomide, is a potent and orally bioavailable immunomodulatory molecule with antineoplastic activity. It is commonly used as the ligand of E3 ligase in PROTACs (proteolysis targeting chimeras), a protein degradation technology. Pomalidomide was approved in 2013 by the US FDA for treatment for relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma, in particular, relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma (MM). It is marketed as Pomalyst in the US and Imnovid in the European Union and Russia.
