Description	Linogliride is a guanidine-based inhibitor of insulin secretion and a structural analog of pirogliride with hypoglycemic activity. It blocks ATP-sensitive potassium channels in the pancreatic beta cell membrane, thereby stimulating insulin secretion and improving glucose tolerance.
