Description	Recombinant Human Biglycan/BGN Protein is produced by HEK293 expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Asp38-Lys368) of human Biglycan/BGN (Accession #NP_001702.1) fused with a 6×His tag at the C-terminus.
Background	Biglycan, also known as PG I, is a secreted chondroitin/dermatan sulfate proteoglycan in the small leucine-rich proteoglycan (SLRP) family.The protein is plays a role in bone growth, muscle development and regeneration, and collagen fibril assembly in multiple tissues. This protein may also regulate inflammation and innate immunity. Additionally, It may contribute to atherosclerosis and aortic valve stenosis in human patients.
